THE EVENT

Produced In Partnership with THE CREATORS COLLECTIVE

Do you tend to socialize and work with people who look like you? Want to feel more empowered in having conversations about racism, white privilege and inequality within your community or workplace?

9 times out of 10, women's empowerment events are either largely focused on and attended by white women, or by women of color.

Inclusive Conversations aims to be something different, an opportunity for women of all colors to come together to listen, learn, and develop the practice of relating across difference as equals, as Audre Lorde taught us.

Our first event in Brooklyn in October 2017 was enlightening and inspiring, and we are hosting a follow-up brunch on November 12th to continue our candid and open conversation about healing our divides in a more informal way.

Join us for brunch followed by a group discussion focused on issues like racism, white privilege, unconscious bias, inequality and what we can begin to do to stand with and for each other to create a just, connected and peaceful world.

Our goals through this movement are to create the space to have these conversations in order to develop more empathy, trust, deeper relatedness and connection within ourselves and communities.
